Philadelphia Police said they are investigating a shooting that took place in the Cobbs Creek section of the city last night. A 6 ABC ACTION NEWS report said, the incident happened at 60th & Delancey Streets at around 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday night.

A man in his 30’s was reportedly shot by a passenger in a car passing by, who was hanging out of the sunroof as he fired shots. The victim, who was only identified as “a male in his 30’s” was reportedly shot in the chest, lower back, and leg. Police Department cameras are reported to have captured the entire incident in “real-time.”

“You can see a dark-colored sedan going west on Dealancey from 60th. Someone was standing through the open sunroof and firing shots from the sunroof at the victim. A second vehicle behind the shooters vehicle…another dark color vehicle……then struck our shooting victim and actually ran him over.”

Philadelphia Chief Inspector, Scott Small, told reporters last night. Small also said police were attempting to determine if the two cars were together. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and was last reported to be in critical condition.

No arrests have been made at this time.
