SUSPECT ARRESTED AFTER STABBING MAN IN HEAD

A 29-year old, so far unidentified man, has been arrested and charged with stabbing an “acquaintance” in the head in the early morning hours yesterday, in the Belfield section of the city. According to a report from CBS-3 PHILLY, police were called to the 2000 block of Conlyn Street at around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Police said they found a man who was suffering from multiple stab wounds. He also reportedly had a knife impaled in his head. The victim managed to tell police that the suspect was a “friend of the family’s.”

The suspect was later picked up in the area of the 2100 block of Oxford Street. The suspect was expected to be charged with murder and aggravated assault, in this crime. Police are also investigating the suspect’s involvement in the murder of a 50-year old woman inside of her Hunting Park home, on Thursday. The man suffering from with a knife impaled in his head, was rushed to the hospital and last reported to be in critical condition.
