Philadelphia Police said they were investigating a death, they called “suspicious.” A FOX-29 PHILADELPHIA report said, police and fire crews responded to a report of a burning car at around 8:30 a.m. on the 2400 block of Wendle Street on Monday morning.

Once the flames were extinguished, a body was discovered in the driver’s seat of the car by fire crews. The Medical Examiner’s Office officially pronounced the person dead at 8:35 a.m. The victim was reportedly recognized as male, by the Medical Examiner’s Office. The race of the victim has not been determined yet.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
