Philadelphia Police said they are investigating a shooting in West Philly last night that left an 18-year old man dead. A FOX-29 PHILLY report said, the incident happened at around 9 p.m. on Wednesday night on the 5400 block of Pennsgrove Street.
The victim who has been identified as Sean Guyton was shot once in the shoulder. He was taken to Penn-Presbyterian Hospital by private vehicle. The vehicle that brought Guyton to the hospital was gone by the time police arrived, as well as the driver of the vehicle. Guyton was pronounced dead a short time after arriving at the hospital.
Police say 21 shell casings fired from 3-different guns were found at the scene. Preliminary investigation leads police to believe that the shooting may have been the result of a fist-fight that happened sometime prior to the shooting.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made in the homicide.
