Police said they are investigating after an attempted robbery led to the robber being killed by the store’s owner this afternoon in North Philly. According to a 6 ABC NEWS report, the incident happened on the 1400 block of Master Street at around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.

A male suspect reportedly pulled a gun and attempted to rob the store. The owner beat the suspect to the draw and shot him twice in the abdomen. Police on the scene rushed the suspect to Temple University Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
