Philadelphia Police say they are investigating a shooting that left a man in critical condition this morning in South Philadelphia. A report from FOX-29 PHILLY said the shooting happened at around 10:32 a.m. at a store on the corner of the 2800 block of Jackson Street on Tuesday morning.

The victim was only identified as a 51-year old male. He was reportedly shot once in the leg. He was taken to Penn-Presbyterian Hospital, where he was last reported to be in critical condition. People living in the area said the victim was an employee at the corner store.
No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made in the shooting at this time.
