Philadelphia Police said they are searching for the couple who vandalized a Dollar Store and assaulted one of the store’s employees. 6 ABC ACTION NEWS reported that the incident happened on March 6th at around 4:00 p.m., at the Dollar Tree located at 2027 Oregon Avenue, in South Philadelphia.

Surveillance video from the store showed a man and a woman arguing with a cashier, according to police. At some point, the frustrated couple began grabbing items from the aisles and throwing them on the floor. As the couple were on their way leaving the store after the incident, the man suddenly turned around and headed for the cashier. Police say he choke-slammed her to the ground before fleeing the store with his accomplice. The man then stole several items on his way out of the store, laughing the entire time. His girlfriend was waiting for him at the front door, while he was assaulting the cashier, according to the police report.
