Officials with the Civil Aviation Administration Of China said that a China Eastern Boeing 737-800 airplane with 132 people on board crashed in the southern province of Guangxi., on Monday. According to a ABC NEWS report, the flight from Kunming (in the western province of Yunnan) to the Industrial Center Of Guangzhou, along the east coast.

The report said the flight had been steadily traveling at 30,000 feet, when it suddenly entered a deep dive. The CAAC said radar picked this up at 6:20 local time. The data suggested that the plan crashed within a minute and a half of whatever went wrong. There has been no immediate word given to the number of dead or injured in the crash.
