Philadelphia Police said an overnight double shooting in South Philadelphia sent two men to the hospital, one critically injured. A report from FOX-29 PHILADELPHIA said the shooting happened on the 2700 block of South Randolph Street.

Three men were reportedly walking in the area when they were approached by three other men. One demanded money from the victims. After a brief altercation, one of the assailants pulled out a gun and began firing shots at the victims. Two of the victims were hit in the legs.
The suspects reportedly fled on foot, in the direction of Oregon Avenue. Police said several 9mm casings were found at the scene. Both victims were rushed to the hospital. One victim was last reported to be in stable condition. The other victim was last reported to be in critical condition as a result of his injuries.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
