Philadelphia Police said they are investigating an overnight shooting in the Northern Liberties section of the city, that left two men hospitalized, one seriously. 6 ABC ACTION NEWS reported that the shooting happened at Front Street and Girard Avenue at around 3 a.m.
The two men (identified only as ” 26 & 32-year old males) were reportedly leaving a food truck and were heading to their cars when someone began shooting at the men. Police reported that at least two shots were fired. Both men were hit. The 32-year old man was hit once in the stomach. He was last reported to be in critical condition. The 26-year old male’s condition was listed as stable, but there were no reports of what type of injuries he sustained during the ambush. Both victims were rushed to the hospital by police that arrived at the scene.
No suspects have been named at this time and no arrests have been made in the shooting so far.
