51-year old, former Philadelphia Police Lieutenant, Richard Frank was sentenced to jail time by a Bucks County judge on Tuesday morning. According to a report from THE PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, Judge Raymond McHugh sentenced the former Philly cop to 364 to 729 days to be served at a County Jail.

Frank was accused of sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13-years old on at least two occasions, according to the Inquirer report. Once at his home in Northeast Philly and another time in an undisclosed location in Bucks County, P.A. Both sexual assaults took place in 2017.
Frank was arrested for the crime in 2019. He was originally charged with indecent assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and corruption of a minor charges. He was convicted by a jury in December. On top of the nearly two years in county jail, Frank will also be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
