INNOCENT BYSTANDER SHOT AT BUS STOP DURING SHOOTOUT IN PORT RICHMOND

Philadelphia Police say an innocent bystander was shot yesterday in the Port Richmond section of the city. According to a report from 6ABC ACTION NEWS, the shooting happened on Tulip Street near Allegheny Avenue at around 5 p.m. early on Wednesday evening.

According to the report, two vehicles were traveling along Allegheny Avenue as they fired a total of 30 shots at one another. One gunman reportedly fired at the other car through his sunroof. The other gunman shot at the other driver through the passenger’s side window.

The victim, who had been identified as only, “a 55-year old man”, was shot in the chest and the shoulder. He was rushed to a hospital. The report simply said “he is expected to survive.” Amazingly, no one else was injured. Police say they are searching for the suspects, but so far, no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.
