A former corrections officer has been sentenced to serve prison time for the role he played in a conspiracy with two inmates. THE REPORTER ONLINE, reported that 38-year old Mustafa Saeed Robinson from Norristown, was sentenced to 2-4 years in state prison on Tuesday.

Saaed had been accused of smuggling contraband (including controlled substances) into the Montgomery County Correctional Facility between October 2020 – January 2021. Saaed plead guilty to the charges. The 2-4 year prison sentence was part of a plea deal Robinson signed with prosecutors, in return for his testimony against the two inmates, and any others involved. Robinson could have been facing up to 40-years in prison had he been convicted on all charges at trial. Robinson admitted to smuggling Suboxone (used to treat addiction), Synthetic Marijuana, and an Apple watch & power cord into the prison for the two inmates. Robinson was paid via Cashapp for making the deliveries, that he got from relatives of the inmates on the outside, before he smuggled the items in….all of which were considered contraband, by the jail.
