There was a $70,000 reward being offered for any information that led to the arrest of the person who was wanted for shooting at least five homeless men in New York and Washington D.C. I don’t know if anyone collected on that reward money, but if you didn’t, it’s too late to do it now.
According to a report from CBS NEWS, the suspect in the shootings was arrested on Tuesday. The so far, unidentified suspect, was arrested when he was spotted walking down a street in D.C. Authorities say the arrest was made by the Bureau Of Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms, and Explosive Washington Field Division.
Two of the five victims were killed in the senseless attacks on DC and New York City’s homeless population. The shootings reportedly took place over a 9-day period. The official police report says the suspect shot three of his victims in Washington D.C. while they were sleeping. One man was killed in that attack. Another sleeping victim was killed in Manhattan on Saturday. The 5th victim of the shooter probably would have also been killed too, if not for the fact that police said he woke up, startling the shooter. That victim was shot, but not fatally.
