Award-winning American filmmaker and Journalist, 50-year old, Brent Renaud, was reportedly killed on Sunday while reporting from the suburban capital Kyiv, in Ukraine. A report from the NEW YORK TIMES said Renaud’s death had been confirmed by Ukraine’s Interior Ministry.
Ukrainian authorities said Renaud was killed in the suburban, Irpin. The suburb has recently been the focus of the Russian attack in recent days, according to the Times report. Details of Renaud’s death have not been released. Another journalist was alleged injured in the same Sunday attack by Russian forces.
