WOMAN HIT BY STRAY BULLET WHILE LEAVING CORNER STORE IN NORTH PHILLY

Police are investigating after a woman was struck by a stray bullet in North Philadelphia last night. 6 ABC ACTION NEWS reported that the incident happened on the 1800 block of Susquehanna Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. on Wednesday night.

Police said a 33-year old woman was hit in the thigh by a stray bullet as she was leaving the corner store. She was taken to Temple University Hospital, and was last reported to be in stable condition.

No suspects have been named in the shooting and no arrests have been made yet.
