Delaware County Police said an arrest warrant has been issued for Anthony Jones (No age given) of Philadelphia, in connection with the shooting of a 58-year old man on Sunday afternoon.
A report from 6 ABC ACTION NEWS, said the shooting happened at the intersection of Springfield Road & Oak Avenue, at around 12:30 p.m. When police arrived on the scene, they say they found the 58-year old victim on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach. He was rushed to the University Of Pennsylvania Hospital, where he was last reported to be in critical condition and scheduled to undergo emergency surgery.
Police reportedly stayed at the scene of the shooting for hours, taking pictures of the Amazon delivery truck and the silver pick-up truck the victim was driving.
Police announced the arrest warrant for Jones on Monday afternoon.
