All three of the men convicted in the murder of Ahmaud Arbery, were convicted of federal hate crimes on Tuesday morning. According to a report from THE ASSOCIATED PRESS, William “Roddie” Bryan, and father and son, Greg & Travis McMichael, were convicted of violating Ahmaud Arbery’s civil rights, and targeting him because he was black.
The jury also found the three defendants guilty of attempted kidnapping. Father & son McMichael, were both convicted on another charge for the use of a firearm in the commission of a crime. A sentencing date has not been announced yet.
