Philadelphia Police say they are investigating a robbery that took place at a Rite-Aid Pharmacy in South Philly last night. 6 ABC ACTION NEWS reported that the incident happened at the Rite-Aid on the 7900 block of Castor Avenue. The robbery reportedly took place as the store was getting ready to close at around 9:30 p.m.

The robbers were reportedly wearing blue latex gloves and facemasks when they entered the store and robbed customers of their valuables, before taking the manager to the back and forcing him to open the safe.
The robbers reportedly made off with around $8,000 in cash and $2,000 worth of lottery tickets. No suspects have been identified yet and no arrests have been made so far.
