Philadelphia Police say a dispute over a parking spot ended with a delivery driver needing to be rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds. 6 ABC ACTION NEWS reported that the incident happened at around 1:50 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, on the 1700 block of Chestnut Street.

The drama started when a white car pulled into a parking spot on 17th & Chestnut. A food driver was attempting to grab the parking spot at the same time. The delivery driver got out of his SUV and the two drivers began arguing. The delivery driver suddenly punched the other man, knocking him to the ground in the process. The man in the white car pulled out a gun and took a few shots at the delivery driver, who was hit in the neck and the hand.
The delivery driver was reportedly rushed to the hospital by a nearby bystander. He was last listed in critical condition at Jefferson University Hospital. As of 6:08 p.m. Thursday evening, the suspected shooter remains on the loose
