Police in Philadelphia say they are investigating an afternoon shooting that resulted in a 12-year old girl being shot in the stomach. ABC ACTION NEWS reported that the incident happened on D Street near East Luray Street, at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police said the 12-year old was rushed to the hospital. There is no word on her condition at this time. Police have not released further details of the event, according to 6 ABC. No arrests have been made in the shooting yet.
