Former NFL running back Adrian Peterson was reportedly arrested at the LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT on Sunday morning, as he was headed home to Houston, after attending the Super Bowl festivities this weekend.
According to a report from ABC-13 HOUSTON, Peterson was arrested at around 8:30 a.m. after police say they received a call for a possible case of domestic violence happening on board the plane. Peterson and his wife were reportedly having a verbal altercation that got so loud and heated that the plane was forced to return to its gate. Airport Police took Peterson into custody. He is being held on a $50,000 bond for the felony charge. According to the report, Peterson’s wife and her friends continued on with their flight back to Houston after Adrian Peterson was arrested.
