20-year old Haneef Roberson was arrested in Oakwood, Georgia on Tuesday morning. A report from KYW NEWS RADIO, said Roberson was picked up by police in Wal-Mart, after getting a call about a “fraud in progress.”
It didn’t take long for police to discover they had a suspect wanted for murder in their custody. Roberson and three other men, allegedly murdered 14-year old Samir Jefferson on November 29th. Samir was waiting for the bus on Hunting Park Avenue when he was ambushed by Roberson, Kyair Garnett, Quadir Johnson, and 23-year old Jahlil Williams. The four men shot at the 14-year old at least 35 times from semi-automatic weapons. Garnett and Johnson are already in police custody. Williams is still on the run.
