DRIVE-BY SHOOTING IN KENSINGTON LEAVES MAN IN CRITICAL CONDITION

Philadelphia Police are investigating after a drive-by shooting in Kensington on Thursday night. According to 6 ABC ACTION NEWS, a man was shot twice while walking along G Street near Allegheny Avenue at around 10:45 p.m.

A silver sedan pulled up alongside the victim and opened fire. The victim was taken to the hospital. He was last reported to be in critical condition. The silver sedan reportedly crashed a few blocks away from the shooting. Police say someone then began shooting at the silver sedan. The occupants of the sedan jumped out of the car and ran. Police say they are not sure if anyone inside of the car was hit by gunfire. Police also said the silver sedan had been stolen in a carjacking earlier in the week.
