Philadelphia Police say a woman shot her boyfriend during a struggle inside of the apartment the couple shared, and then drove him to the hospital to be treated for his wounds. A report from 6 ABC ACTION NEWS, there was an altercation of some sort between the couple before the shot went off.
The shooting happened shortly before 2 a.m. early Tuesday morning, on the 900 block of Cliveden Street in East Mount Airy. The 24-year old woman reportedly shot her 25-year old boyfriend in the neck during the struggle. Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said there was broken furniture, mirrors, and a broken television when they arrived on scene.
“We went inside the apartment where the male and female both lived and you could clearly see there was a struggle.”
