31-year old, Elliot Knox, and 32-year old Travon Shaw, are both currently in police custody, and are being charged in the attempted murder of Baltimore Police Officer, Keona Holley. 6 ABC NEWS reported that the pair are also being charged in connection to the murder of Justin Johnson.

Police say Officer Holley was on duty in her patrol vehicle in Southern Baltimore at around 1:30 am early on Thursday morning when she was shot. She was rushed to Maryland Medical Center where she was last reported to be in critical but stable condition.

Police say the pair then went to a Southwest Baltimore neighborhood, where they shot and killed Johnson at around 3 a.m. that same night. Investigators say that at least one of the two guns recovered from the suspects was used in both shootings.

Police believe at least one of the suspects knew Johnson, but are not sure if Johnson knew either of the shooters. Police also say they don’t believe Officer Holley’s shooting was random. Police said they were investigating to find out if either of the two men had previous contact with Officer Holley.
