Philadelphia Police say two men were shot while stopped at a traffic light in University City, close to the UPENN Campus. According to a report from 6ABC ACTION NEWS, the shooting happened at 38th & Chestnut Streets shortly after midnight on Tuesday.

The two men were reportedly stopped at a traffic light, when two passengers exited another car and fired 15 shots into the victim’s vehicle. The driver and passenger both were hit multiple times by gunfire. Several other cars in the area were also hit by gunfire, according to the Action News report.
Police said the driver rushed himself and the passenger to Penn Presbyterian Hospital. At last report, both men were being treated for their injuries. No word on their conditions. So far, no arrests have been made.
