Two people were arrested for holding up a 7-Eleven convenience store at gunpoint, on Sunday night, in the Olney section of the city. A report from 6 ABC ACTION NEWS said, the armed robbery happened at around 11:15 pm at the 7-Eleven store on Rising Sun & Wyoming Avenues.

Police say the suspects walked away with an undisclosed amount of cash, after pulling a gun on the clerk and robbing him. Investigators say police were on their trail almost from the moment they left the store. Two officers tracked the suspects by car. They called in a helicopter patrol to help in the search for the suspects. After a brief foot chase, the suspects were apprehended at 13th Street & West Chew Avenue, in the Fern Rock section of the city. Police say they recovered all of the stolen money.
