On Sunday morning just before 11 a.m., a postal worker was delivering mail in a small neighborhood in Maryland. The small town has about 700 residents in total. As she was stopped at a light, a man approached her truck, and demanded her keys, according to a report in the MIAMI HERALD.

Prosecutors say that when the deliverywoman didn’t answer, he grabbed her arm and demanded a second time. “Give me the f***ing key now!” Prosecutors say, the key the robber was looking for is called an “arrow key.” The arrow key is used to access collection boxes. The postal worker reportedly dropped the key on the ground and ran.
The man who demanded the postal worker’s keys was later identified as 38-year old, Michael Deandre Parker, from Washington, D.C. Packer is accused of raiding collection boxes with his partner in crime, 29-year old, Rodney Jerrod Jefferson. The two are accused of stealing more than 1000 checks worth $1.5 million, over a 15-month period between 2018 & 2019.
Jefferson was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for his participation in the crimes on Monday. He was also ordered to pay $35,100 in restitution. Packer was sentenced to more than four years in prison previously.
