PHILADELPHIA, PA

Philadelphia Police are investigating, after they say a passenger was stabbed on a SEPTA train in West Philly, early on Friday morning. 6 ABC ACTION NEWS, were on the scene, and reported that the incident took place on a train near 46th Street Station, at 46th & Market Streets around 5am.

SEPTA officials say preliminary reports indicate, the victim was stabbed in the hand during an altercation on the train. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. SEPTA said a suspect was identified, and taken into custody.
