SUSPECT LEAVES WALLET BEHIND AFTER SHOOTING MAN TO DEATH

HOUSTON, TEXAS

Police in Houston say a suspect in a robbery, turned murder, left his wallet at the scene of the fatal crime. Fox 26 Houston, reported that the shooting happened on Halloween night, on the 6300 block of Windswept Lane in the Mahatma Gandi area of West Houston, shortly after midnight on Sunday.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a man in his early 30’s. The victim suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. According to police, initial reports said the man had been robbed in the moments leading up to the shooting. The suspect allegedly fled the scene in a blue or green Toyota Corolla. Police say the suspect dropped his wallet as he fled.

The suspect’s identification was shown to witnesses at the scene, who positively identified the suspect as the person who did the shooting.
