PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA
A double shooting that took place Sunday night, on Lindberg Boulevard left a 25-year old male dead, and a 24-year old pregnant woman seriously injured. A report from 6 ABC ACTION NEWS, said the shooting happened on the 7700 block of Lindberg Boulevard, in the Eastwick section of the city.

A car that had been shot-up in a Wendy’s parking lot was surrounded by police inspecting the vehicle. The 25-year old, unidentified male had been shot in the head and body. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The 24-year old pregnant woman, was shot once in the back. She was rushed to Presbyterian Hospital. The mother and unborn child were last reported to be in stable condition.

According to police, the incident began when a white vehicle pulled beside the victim’s car, and the occupants of the vehicle began shooting at the victims car as they drove along the 7700 block of Lindberg Boulevard as the victims drove through the Pennrose Plaza. The male victim crashed his car in the Wendy’s parking lot. He jumped out of the vehicle and began running back toward Lindberg Avenue, where he collapsed. Police say the male was shot several more times as he lay on the ground. The woman stayed at the Wendy’s, where she called the police. No arrests have been made in the shooting.
