POTTSTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA

Police responded to a neighbor’s call on Chestnut Street, after a report from that neighbor said they heard gunshots coming from the house next door…or a few doors down. When police officers arrived at the home, they found the bodies of Carla Forde (No age given), and her 42-year old husband, Edward Thornton.

Digital platform, SHINE MY CROWN .com, reported that the couple had in-home surveillance inside the home. After reviewing the tape, officers say the couple could be seen arguing in the kitchen. The police report stated that Thornton began striking the victim until she was unconscious. He then left the run and went upstairs to retrieve a gun. Thornton came back to the kitchen and shot and killed Forde, before shooting and killing himself.

A gofundme page that has been set up for the Forde Family says the money is for Carla Forde’s 3 children. The oldest is a full-time student, with a full-time job, who must now care for her two younger siblings after the tragic murder of her mother.
