19-year old Nils “Einar” Gronberg was gunned down in Stockholm, Sweden on Thursday. Police believe the killing was gang related.
The NEW YORK POST reported Einar was “shot dead instantly” in the upscale suburban neighborhood of Hammarby Sjostad, according to the Swedish National Police. Swedish newspaper AFTONBLADET reported Einar was killed “execution-style” and shot at point blank range.
Swedish police are investigating the murder as gang-related. The murder of Einar comes one year after he was kidnapped and sexually assaulted by a rival gang, SVT and other Swedish news outlets. No arrests have been made in the murder, but police are said to be looking for at least two suspects who may have been involved in Einar’s murder.
