A bipartisan bill sponsored by Democrat Sen. Sharif Street and Republican Sen. Dan Laughlin, named SB 473, may have a shot at becoming law this time around. According to a report from NBC WGAL LANCASTER, once through the P.A. House, the bill would likely have little, if any pushback from a Republican controlled Senate, since the bill has bipartisan support.

The Senators propose making an adult-use recreational marijuana program in Pennsylvania. The state would set up the industry, which they say will allow licensed farmers across the state to grow marijuana. The bill would regulate the drug, which could possibly make millions of dollars in tax revenue from the sale of marijuana.
