PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA

A 30-year old man is in the hospital recovering from his injuries, after his car was sprayed with a hail of bullets in the Feltonville section of the city at around 12 a.m. this morning, according to a report from CBS 3 PHILLY.

The gunfire happened in the 4800 block of Whitaker Avenue. Police say they found an unoccupied S.U.V. that was still running when they arrived at the scene. The vehicle was “covered in bullets.” They found the driver of the vehicle a short distance away. He told police he was hit twice in the head and arm. The man was taken to the hospital, where he was last reported in stable condition. No arrests have been made so far. Police say at least 20 shots were fired.
