ALTOONA, PENNSYLVANIA
51-year old, Anthony Towles, of Tyrone, PA, was arrested and charged after he stabbed a co-worker who told him he wasn’t working hard enough. Towles was charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault with an attempt to cause bodily injury, and one count of making terroristic threats, according to reporting from WJAC-TV.

According to the police report, the incident happened outside of a Five Guys Restaurant in Altoona, where Towles and the victim both worked. Investigators say the two men got into an argument inside of the restaurant, after the co-worker accused Towles of not working hard enough. Police say the two then went to a parking lot in the rear of the restaurant. The victim said Fowles told him “I’m going to kill you!” The victim said that’s when Fowles punched him in the face and stabbed him with a pen. Towles said he was defending himself, and admitted to pulling out a pen and swinging it at the co-worker. Fowles said he was aiming for his shoulder. Police say the victim walked away from the stabbing with an inch-long scar on the left side of his head, behind his ear, inches away from his cartoid artery.

Towles was booked into Blair County Jail. According to court records, he’s still there as of Wednesday. No word on bond or the next court date.
