MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE

Police were called to an event venue at around 10pm on Friday night, for a fight involving allegedly 20-30 people, according to a report from WKRC 12.

Responding officers reported at least 8-10 fights taking place simultaneously. The fights were reportedly taking place in the parking lot, but was beginning to spill back into the wedding venue. Court documents state, as police were making arrests, Miya Pugh, the bride, began shouting in the parking lot. She said the fight had ruined her wedding. Police described Pugh as “visibly intoxicated” and going from calm to “combative.”

When officers attempted to take her into custody, Pugh allegedly bit one of them on the shoulder, causing a “minor abrasion”, according to the police report. Pugh was booked, and is facing charges of aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting official detention.
