DRIVE BY SHOOTING IN GERMANTOWN LEAVES 1 DEAD, 4 MORE INJURED

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA

A drive-by shooting outside of “Our Brother’s” Barber Shop on the 5100 block of Germantown Avenue, left one person dead, and four others injured, according to a report from 6ABC Action News.

According to police, the incident happened around 5:37pm on Thursday afternoon.

“A vehicle was traveling south on Germantown and at least one person, possibly two, from that vehicle opened fire.”

Deputy Commissioner, Ben Naish, with the Philadelphia Police Department said.

Police say a 28-year old man was killed after he was shot once in the head. A 62-year old man, 41-year old man, a 29-year old man, and a 28-year old woman, were injured during the gunfire. The 62-year old man was last listed in critical condition. The other three victims were all last listed in stable condition. All of the victims were reportedly taken to a local hospital. Police say at least 15 shots were fired from two different caliber weapons. No arrests have been made so far.
