HOUSTON, TEXAS
Harris County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a shooting in the Katy area early on Tuesday morning. When they arrived, they found 31-year old, Valeesha Duncan dead, with multiple gunshot wounds. She was killed in her garage according to a report from ABC 13 Houston.

Duncan pulled up and parked in her parking garage at around 5:25 am. That was when an unknown suspect opened fire on her. Deputies say the gunman fired approximately 50 shots. Deputies said Duncan’s car had numerous bullet holes in it.

Major Susan Cotter, from The Harris County Sheriff’s Department, said “She [Duncan} was supposedly coming [home] from work. She works at a gentlemen’s club in the galleria area”

Police do not suspect that this was a case of domestic violence. They say they’re not even sure if Duncan was the intended target, or if it was someone else who lived in the home. Investigators also said they are looking for more surveillance video, but said a primary investigation showed a dark-colored sedan leaving the scene.
