PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA
Philadelphia Police were investigating a shooting in the parking lot of a shopping center in Olney last night. 6ABC Action News, reported that the incident happened right outside of the Shop-Rite Supermarket in the parking lot of One & Olney Shopping Center, located near Front Street & Olney Avenue.
Police say an 18-year old male was shot between 10 and 12 times all throughout the body. He was rushed to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead later. A 19-year old woman was also injured in the shooting. She was last listed in critical condition. Both victims were found inside of a BMW SUV that had been riddled with bullets.
“It appears that the shooters walked right up to this BMW and intentionally fired at least 16 shots through the front windshield.”
Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector, Scott Small, said at a press conference on Monday.
