ATLANTA, GEORGIA

Two Atlanta police officers are facing disciplinary action after a video surfaced showing one of the officers kick a woman in the face.

The New York Post reported that the woman (who was not charged with a crime) was as kicked once in the face by a Sergeant after appearing to spit on his boots and pants. The other officer in the video just watched, but did not intervene in any way. The sergeant was placed on unpaid suspension. The other officer was put on administrative assignment, according to department officials. Neither officer has been publicly identified.
