PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA
An early morning shooting outside of Pat’s King Of Steaks on Thursday, left one man dead and another in custody. According to a report from 6ABC, two men got into an argument while in line for food at around 1am at 9th & Wharton Streets. The police report says the two men then started fighting.

Investigators say about six or seven people were also in line waiting for food when the fight broke out. Police say the shooter pulled out a gun and shot the 23-year old victim in the torso, or possibly the back. Witnesses saw the shooter get into a van with a female driver. They gave the police a description of the shooter, van, and license plate number.

Authorities said the man showed up at 5th & Market Streets in Center City to turn himself in for the shooting. Police said he contacted them before showing up.

Officers said that when they arrived at the scene of the shooting, they found the victim and rushed him to Thomas Jefferson Hospital, where he died shortly after.
