The sad news that singer Keyshia Cole’s biological mother, Frankie Lons, had passed away, was confirmed by Keyshia Cole’s brother Sam, after a chat with TMZ on Tuesday. Sam told TMZ that Frankie died at her home in Oakland, California celebrating her 61st birthday. Sam said Frankie relapsed on drugs.

Frankie Lons is Keyshia Cole’s biological mother. Keyshia was adopted by family friends, Leon & Yvonne Cole when she was 2-years old, according to a report from Page Six.
