PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA
A passenger on the EL Train was shot by an unidentified gunman. That gunman, then jumped from the El (elevated) train to his eventual death. That’s some crazy stuff to witness at 6:00 in the morning, while you’re just riding the train to work and minding your own business.
NBC 10 Philly (https://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/), reported that a 27-year old passenger aboard the El train was shot by another passenger. Investigators said the shooting happened Monday morning around 6:15 am at The Arrott Transportation Center stop on the Market-Frankford line. Police reports said that police arrived to find the 27-year old man who’d been shot. He was hit in the arm and torso. The man was rushed to the hospital, where he was last listed in stable condition.

Witnesses aboard the crowded train told police the shooter jumped from the El (elevated) train. Police reports indicate that a man matching the description of the suspected gunman was found dead on the train tracks. He’d apparently been hit by another train on his way down.

Police say they are reviewing surveillance footage from the platform and the train. Investigators say an investigation is ongoing.
