BROOKLYN, NEW YORK
The Milwaukee Bucks advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals, after coming out on top of a 7-game series, that didn’t go the way I thought it would. After seeing those first two games of the series, I was convinced that Giannis was scared of K.D. That, or he was respecting and admiring his opponent too much for my liking. And we all know the Bucks will only go as far as Giannis leads them. I know the injury to Kyree Irving definitely changed things, but I believe the biggest thing the Nets had going against them, was James Harden coming back to soon. Let’s be honest, he was in the way out there most times. He never really got his rhythm back after sitting out multiple games. K.D would’ve been netter off carrying the Nets by himself without Harden. Well, at least that’s what I think.
The Bucks beat the Nets 115-111 on Saturday night, in an exciting game-7 that went to overtime. Giannis led the way for the Bucks with 40 points and 13 rebounds. Kris Middleton chipped in 23 points and 10 rebounds. Kevin Durant led the way for the Nets with 48-points. More impressive than the 48-points scored, was the fact the KD played all 53-minutes, O.T. included. A game-7! Who has that kind of wind left in game-7 of a seven game series? Most people are going to overlook that, but anyway, James Harden was one assist and rebound away from another triple-double. He ended the night with 22-9-9. Harden was 5-17 from the floor. (In the way, like I said!). The Bucks will await the winner of the 76ers – Hawks series. That series comes down to a game-7 on Sunday, just like this one did. Check out the game highlights below:
