PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA
The Philadelphia Eagles made what I hope will be, the first of many substantial offseason moves in hopes of attempting to plug the holes all over the place, that caused the squad to leak oil most of last season. In other words…injuries. Two positions where injuries completely decimated the Eagles last year were WR, QB, and defense. I said defense, because the entire unit was sub-par last season. The defensive line was pretty solid most times, but everyone else………….. Anyway, I believe signing former San Francisco 49ers QB, Nick Mullens, was a pretty good move to make…with all things considered.

The Eagles QB depth now includes Jalen Hurts, Joe Flacco, and Nick Mullens. If I know anything about the Eagles, it’s that we will likely be using all three QB’s at some point in this upcoming season. That’s just how our luck has always been. But, here’s a little good news for Eagles fans. Maybe you already know, but in case you didn’t…Nick Mullens is not garbage. He’s no NICK Foles, but he’s also not Mark Sanchez, you know what I’m saying? In his first 16 starts, Mullens threw for 4,405 yards. That number only trails one player in NFL history. Number one in that time length is Patrick Mahomes. That sounds like pretty good company to be in. I feel pretty good about this move.
