MAN ARRESTED AND ACCUSED OF PLOTTING A MASS SHOOTING AT WALMART

KERRVILLE, TEXAS

Authorities arrested a man whose been accused of plotting to carry out a mass shooting at a local Walmart Store. A search of the suspect’s home turned up a sizable arsenal of weapons with multiple rounds of ammunition to go along wi8th the weapons. There was also, what investigators described as “radical ideology paraphernalia”, found at the suspect’s home.

28-year old, Coleman Thomas Blevins, is the name of the accused. Blevins has been charged with “making a terroristic threat to create public fear of serious bodily injury.” USA Today (https://www.usatoday.com/), reported that investigators told them, they intercepted a message from Blevins indicating that he was “preparing to proceed with a mass shooting”, and that Walmart was one of the targets on his list. Blevins was reportedly taken into custody the next day. Investigators put out a release of items found in Blevins’ home during the search.

Firearms(no official word on how many), ammunition, electronic evidence, concentrated THC, and radical ideology paraphernalia, including books, flags, and handwritten documents. Blevins is currently on felony probation. That means Blevins is not supposed to be in possession of firearms, and in some cases, probation doesn’t allow a person to even be around firearms. Bevins was booked into the Kerr County Jail, about 70 miles northwest of San Antonio.
