CAMDEN, NEW JERSEY

23-year old, Marquese Smith, of Baird Boulevard, Camden, New Jersey, pled guilty to one count of Strict Liability For Drug-Induced Death. The charge is 1st degree felony. Smith is was arrested and charged for causing the death of a customer who purchased Fentanyl-laced cocaine in the summer of 2019.

According to a report from The Central Record(https://www.southjerseylocalnews.com/), Smith is looking at around 8-years when he’s sentenced on August 12th of this year.
