Police say a man is facing multiple charges after shooting, and then barbecuing his dog. Yup, you read that right. He bar-b-q’ed his damn dog. The incident happened on Friday night in Bucks County, PA, which is located on the outskirts of Philadelphia.

PennLive .com ( reported that 49-year old Nikolay Lukyanchikov, is facing charges of aggravated cruelty to animals, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, and related offenses. At last report, Lukyanchikov was still behind bars sitting on a $1 million bail. Prosecutors convinced a judge that the serious nature of the crime warranted such a high bail. The judge obviously agreed. And now Lukyanchikov will need to come up with $1 million if he wants to get out of jail before his trial, which could take up to a year or more.

Reports state that police were called to Lukyanchikov’s Northampton Township home at around 7am. The original call was about a concern of a fire burning in his front yard. The call likely came from a neighbor. Police say when they arrived, they found a very intoxicated, Lukyanchikov, sitting on a couch in his front yard. His words slurred heavily because he was drunk. Oh yeah, he was also in the middle of setting some $100 bills on fire. When the police put out the fire, they spotted the badly charred animal lying on top of the barbecue grate. Police later learned that the dog was Lukyanchikov’s, and that he’d been shot in the eye. Police reports say, Lukyanchikov’s roommate said she heard gunfire from his room earlier on in the day. She told police he later admitted to shooting and killing the dog with a 9mm Beretta handgun, and hid it outside. Police say bullet holes were found in the hallway of the home. Blood was also found to be in the hallways.
